Guy Stone

Guy brings to CMA over 30 years of management and leadership experience that includes both public and private sector assignments in operations, management, human resources, marketing, sales, training, organizational development, and higher education. He recently worked as the Chief Operations Officer for the Global Institute for Financial and Educational Services, an e-learning and marketing consulting company servicing global markets.

Guy brings to CMA over 30 years of management and leadership experience that includes both public and private sector assignments in operations, management, human resources, marketing, sales, training, organizational development, and higher education. Guy recently worked as the Chief Operations Officer for the Global Institute for Financial and Educational Services, an e-learning and marketing consulting company servicing global markets. His COO responsibilities included directing International Operations (marketing and sales) in India, China, London, South America, and the Caribbean. Guy was directly involved in all phases of TGI’s business and product development strategies and worked closely consulting with the company’s eight strategic partners. He directed corporate administration, human resources, and the financial control systems.


After a distinguished and highly decorated USAF military career, Guy excelled as an Administrator and Business/Management Professor. He is presently on the faculty for the University of Phoenix and Nova Southeastern University. Guy is a subject matter expert in the field of Management. His areas of expertise include Management and Leadership Application, Strategic Planning, Research, Decision-Making, Human Relations, and Organization Behavior. He has worked as the Associate Director of Academics for the University of Phoenix, Interim Executive Director and College Dean for Webster College, Assistant Dean of Academics for the Florida Metropolitan University, Consultant to Schiller International University (International MBA Program), Financial Advisor and Small Business Consultant for Waddell & Reed, and as a Field Manager for the AMOCO Petroleum Marketing Group. Guy also taught for the University of Maryland, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and the Community College of the Air Force.


Since 1983, he has provided advice, research, and consultation to small business owners and start up entrepreneurs looking for assistance in organizational development, as well as developing business strategies.


Guy first studied business at Ohio State University and received his BA in Management from Park University in 1978. He continued his studies at the graduate level with the University of Oklahoma and received his MBA from the University of Puget Sound in 1983. Guy continued his post-graduate studies and research in the Ed.D program at Nova Southeastern University.
